About The Owner

Maureen Madden, PT, has been a highly successful physical therapist for since 1991. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and in a variety of settings. These range from the chronic pain of an injured worker to the pressures of returning an NBA player back to the court. She has worked for large corporations and small, privately-owned clinics. She quickly built a reputation for passion, professionalism, and skill in all of the settings she entered.

Ms. Madden has published articles and has been featured in both TV and magazine interviews. She has lectured to local physical therapists and many community groups on rehabilitation techniques and injury prevention. At The Stone Clinic in San Francisco, Ms. Madden was the Director of Rehabilitation for 4.5 years. Under her leadership, the rehabilitation department developed a reputation that brought patients from around the state of California for consultation. In this setting, she had the opportunity to work side-by-side with an orthopedic surgeon assisting with the evaluation of patients, care plans, and postoperative protocols.  During this time, Ms. Madden had the opportunity to work with numerous Olympic and X-Game skiers and professional mountain bikers. She also created the rehabilitation protocols for several new surgical techniques.

During  her time in Phoenix Maureen had the opportunity to work with team physicians and many elite athletes.  The long list includes; Kevin Johnson,Charles Barkley, and Jason Kidd (Phoenix Suns); Mike Gartner, Keith Tkachuck, and Nikolai Khabibulin (Phoenix Coyotes); Dan Saliamua (Seattle Seahawks); and Jay Taylor (Kansas City Chiefs). Ms. Madden earned an excellent reputation among elite athletes and she has always enjoyed a strong rapport with patients and physicians.

Maureen has completed numerous continuing education courses including the prestigious Folsom Long-Term Advanced Manual Orthopaedics Course. She combines manual medicine, PNF, and specific training regimes to help patients reach their maximum potential. She also draws on her personal experiences as a competitive rower, recreational cyclist, rock climber, and runner.
